Annual Tour

We are excited to announce that the 9th annual EG Farm to Fork Tour will be taking place on Saturday, October 5th, 2024!

The tour can be done in any order you wish, but we encourage each guest to START the tour at Sharon Temple Museum.

At Sharon Temple Museum, guests will check-in and receive their wrist band, route map and Farm to Fork thermo-tote for every family! There will also be vendors booths and activities for the kids!

Stop #1

Sharon Temple

Address: 18974 Leslie St, Sharon  

The first stop of the Farm to Fork Tour is the historic Sharon Temple Museum, located in the heart of picturesque Sharon. Here, you’ll be able to take a tour of the temple and grounds, see the heritage herb gardens and shop the vendors market. Sharon Temple is the perfect stop to kick off our annual tour.

Stop #2

Queensville Country Store

Address: 1631 Queensville Side Rd, Queensville

Located in quaint Queensville, The Queensville Country Store is a staple business for our community where you will be able to shop local King Cole Duck products and more! This stop will also include story time and a meet & greet with children’s author Carolyn J Morris, kids crafts, and 30% discount for all Farm to Fork guests with a wristband. *Please note, the Queensville Country Store closes at 4pm.*

Holburne Mushroom Farm

Address: 1337 Holborn Rd, Queensville ON, L0G 1R0

A family owned and operated business, Holburne Mushroom Farm has three generations currently involved in the daily operation. 

Stop #4

Queensville Sod Farms 

Address: 21468A Leslie St, Queensville

Queensville Sod Farms has been proudly operating in East Gwillimbury since 2001. We are third generation sod farmers. The farm sells sod rolls, grass seed, fertilizer, aggregates, mulch, top soil and garden soil.

On the Farm to Fork tour, you will visit our farm, see different types of machinery used to harvest and maintain the fields. Visitors will also be able to plant their own seed and decorate a pot. Seed, soil, fertilizer, etc. will be available for purchase.

Stop #5

Rose Family Farm

Address: 17569 Centre St, Mt Albert
 
Lunch is served! Rose Family Farm will be serving up their mouth-watering poutine and fresh chips all day! Their farm stand will also be fully stocked with produce and fall favourites like pumpkins and squash.

Stop #6

Niemi Family Farm

Address: 18463 ON-48, Mt Albert

The Niemi Family Farm is truly one of a kind. From stunning fall flowers, to freshly made baked goods, to locally made decor, and organic produce, you’ll be amazed at what you discover here! Niemi Family Farm will be offering the following:

  • Market day with vendors.
  • Our bakery is full of Pies, breads, cookies and all the goodies for fall and Thanksgiving.
  • Fall Cafe will be OPEN with hot and cold drinks, and Ice cream.
  • Fall mums, decor and pumpkins will be available.
  • Every Farm to Fork wristband holder will get a booking for our Christmas Land for one person ($19.99 + tax value) as a gift from our farm, we will be booking them right at the spot on that day.
  • Fall plant sale of 50% OFF on perennials, shrubs and trees.

Stop #7

AE Natural Meats

Address: 19619 McCowan Rd, Mt Albert

AE Natural Meats will be offering walking tours of their farm and Turkeys for sale!

With the purchase of a breakfast or lunch, a donation of $1.00 per food item will go to the Food Bank.

Please note that no dogs will be allowed on the property, so please leave your furry friends at home!

Stop #8

Sharon Orchards

Address: 18359 Woodbine Ave, Sharon
 
Can you name a better place to spend a beautiful fall day than at an apple orchard? Here, you’ll be able to sample crisp apples, and take home fresh apple cider for Thanksgiving! Farm to Fork guests with a wristband will also receive a free squash or a free bouquet of sunflowers! (1 per family, while quantities last.)
